Clara E. Carney

LEBANON, Ind. - Clara E. Carney, 83, of Lebanon, Ind., died Thursday at Witham Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 29, 1919, in Coal County, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Henry Radcliffe and Mary Flossie Clark Nelson. She was a teacher and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, James Carney; two daughters, Sheila K. Westover of Provo, Utah, and Rodger Harrison of Australia; a stepson, Jerry L. Carney of Stanford; two brothers, Albert H. Nelson of Antioch, Calif., and Billy C. Nelson of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Myers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may go to a favorite charity.

Sarah L. Cornelius

HARRODSBURG - Sarah Lively Cornelius, 91, of Mercer County died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of James Cornelius. Arrangements are incomplete at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.



Lucille M. True

PERRYVILLE - Graveside services for Lucille Moore True, 99, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Perryville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg by the Rev. John Bare.

She died Wednesday in Indiana.

Born July 7, 1904, in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Caroline Moore. She was a former retail clerk, a Presbyterian and the widow of John E. True Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy V. True of Seattle, Wash., a son, John E. True III of Ropert, N.C.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Wilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Paul Price

LIBERTY - Services for Paul Price, 79, of Walltown will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Valley Oak Baptist Church by Troy Merrick and Bobby Clark. Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at his home.

Born June 20, 1924, in Casey County, he was the son of the late John T. and Dorcia Bastin Price. He was a retired employee of General Motors Co. in Norwood, Ohio, and a Casey County school bus driver.

Survivors include his wife, Iva Dean Murphy Price; two sons, Gary P. Price of Kettering, Ohio, and Larry D. Price of West Chester, Ohio; three sisters, Christine Blevins of Illinois, Maxine Godbey of Florida, and Margie French of Morganfield; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary and Glen Price, Roger and Denny Durham, and Johnny, Dempsy and Jimmy Murphy.

Visitation is 6 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.|8/1/03***
