The Boyle County Conservation District is offering cost-share assistance for the construction of heavy-use areas. The pads are constructed by using geo-textile fabric and rock to help control muddy conditions during winter feeding.
The cost-share will be 50 percent up to $800. Applicants who are approved will have until June 30, 2004, to complete the practice.
Sign up at the Conservation District office on the bypass. Signup will end Aug. 15. For more information, contact Sherri Morgan at (859) 238-7461, ext.3.
