Lawn care items stolen:

A green LawnBoy mower and a weed trimmer were stolen at 7:30 p.m. Saturday from a residence at 1113 W. Lexington Ave. According to Danville police, the items valued at more than $300 were stolen from Tammie Lopez. Officer David Prather is investigating.

Morning offering stolen from church:

A thief or thieves apparently stole the morning offering Sunday from The First Apostolic Church on Perryville Road. Danville police said officials from the church realized the money was missing at 5 p.m. Officer Jeff Stith is investigating.

Burglary nets cash, weed trimmer:

A burglary at 3 p.m. Monday resulted in the theft of cash and a Homelite 2-cycle engine weed eater. Danville police said Flora Scott of 125 Circle Drive reported the burglary, which had no signs of forced entry. Officer Jonathan Courtwright is investigating.
