LANCASTER - James Allen, 59, of Paint Lick died Sunday at his home.

Frances A. Ford

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Frances Ann Ford, 62, formerly of Danville, died Monday in Columbus, Ohio.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Ford; two daughters, Sharron Ford and Lou Gina Ford, both of Columbus; two aunts, Lillian Davis and Mary Eliza Marshall, both of Danville; four sisters; a brother; and a granddaughter.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at God's Grace Deliverance Church in Columbus.

Oscar Shearer


Oscar Shearer, 86, of Taylor Road, Danville, formerly of Lancaster, died Monday at his home.

He was the husband of Sarah Shearer.

PERRYVILLE - Services for Edna Frances Chambers Stephens, 75, of Mitchellsburg were today at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Dan Johnson.

Burial will be in Chambers Cemetery.

She died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Pallbearers were Michael and Josh Stephens, Larry Belcher, Wayne and Ernest Alsman and Joey Maddox.

Ethel M. Bradshaw

HARRODSBURG - Services for Ethel M. Bradshaw, 83, of North Magnolia Street will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Baptist Church by J.D. Short III.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

She died Monday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 8, 1919, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest M. and Carneleus Kemper Doneghy.

She was a retired Corning Glass employee and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Centennial Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Bryant of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be John Bryant Sr., Fred Bottoms, James Coffee, George Hudson, Alvis Johnson and James Browning.

Honorary pallbearers are James Williams, Calvin Bedinger, June Christy and James Payne.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Walter E. Daugherty Sr.

MORELAND - Services for Walter Edward Daugherty Sr., 76, of Stanford are 2 p.m. today at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Howard Wayne Stephens.

Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

He died Saturday at Fort Logan Hospital.

Pallbearers are Eddie Daugherty III, Miles, Mike and Mitch Daugherty, Willy Daugherty II and Tommy Wray.

HARRODSBURG - Services for Lillie Mae Cornish Gritton, 81, of North Greenville Street will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. John Cato.

Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She died Sunday at her home.

Born Jan. 13, 1922, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Goodloe and Celestus Colvin Cornish.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Freeda Moore of Loveland, Ohio.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and prior to the service Wednesday.

Tommy Horton

HARRODSBURG - Services for Tommy Horton, 63, of Benton Street will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Joe Smith.

Burial will be in Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery.

He died Monday at his home.

Born Feb. 6, 1939, in High Bridge, he was the son of the late Elbert "Sprout" and Mary Johnson Horton.

He was a butcher and cook, retired from C&T Food Market in Harrodsburg and a former employee of Bennett's in Burgin.

He was a member of Shakertown Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bettye Jackson Horton; five daughters, Tammy Adams of Danville, Kathy Russell of Burgin, Kim Dossett of Garrard County, Joy Snow of Junction City, and Teresa Dossett of Springfield; three brothers, Ronnie Horton of Monticello, Billy Horton of High Bridge and Bobby Horton of Jessamine County; four sisters, Hallie Fox, Minnie Jo Whitaker and Marietta Houp, all of Jessamine County, and Joyce Abrams of Jackson County; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Louis Shelton, Jeff Snow, Mike Adams, Chris Adams, Lee Horner and Dean Todd.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday.

Kathryn Steele

LIBERTY - Services for Kathryn Steele, 76, of Campbellsville will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by Clifford DeHart.

Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.

She died Sunday at Taylor County Hospital.

Born May 13, 1927, in Waverly, Ind., she was the daughter of the late William and Amanda Derringer Goode.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Oscar Steele Jr.
