DANVILLE - Boyle County defeated visiting Harrodsburg in two games Tuesday to improve to 3-1 on the season.
The Rebels beat Harrodsburg 25-15, 25-13 and coach Dana Stigall said the game offered her team a chance to work on some new things.
"The game was a lot of fun," Stigall said. "We were able to try some things that Boyle County has never tried to do in volleyball, like quick sets and things like that.
"Harrodsburg shocked us a few times and the girls had to get focused and run the offense."
Sophomores Rachel Staub and Stephanie Slone led the team in kills, as Staub had six and Slone four. Emily Rigney had two aces to lead the Rebs while Meagan Lankford and Slone each had one.
