Garrard grand jury issues indictments

LANCASTER - A Garrard County grand jury recently handed up indictments against the following:

* Frankie D. Hall, 28, 432 Bethel Road, charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hall is accused of possessing methadose July 17 with intent to sell or transfer while in possession of a handgun and with possessing Oxycontin, Percocet, Paxal, and plastic bags used to package controlled substances after having been convicted of the same offense on at least one prior occasion.

The grand jury witness was Allen Weston.

* Petie S. Taylor, 29, 136 Price Court, charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, second offense no insurance, expired registration plate, and no seat belt. On June 9, she was involved in a traffic accident with minor children in the vehicle. The grand jury witness was Allen Weston.

* Tiffany R. Lynn, 26, 88 Cardinal Circle, charged with 11 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly possessing forged checks drawn on Whitaker Bank. The grand jury witness was Wanda Shelton

* Jack Rose, 127 Old Richmond Road, Crab Orchard, charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree possession of a controlled substance. On July 21, Rose allegedly had in his possession Percocet, Valium, and "a quantity of opiates." The grand jury witness was Allen Weston.
