I'm sorry that Mr. Rhodus is tired of criticism of George W. Bush. Should we ignore the problems or should we follow the Republican mindset and blame Bill Clinton because he lied about sex? After listening to hate radio blame everything on Bill Clinton, I think it's time for the Republican Party to take personal responsibility for their appointed Leader. Does the fact that we went to war over lies about WMD, lies about nuclear capabilities, lies about uranium, lies about contacts between Iraq and al-Qaida mean nothing to Republicans? Or is it only the sex lies that matter?
Where is the outrage over American men and women literally sweltering to death in 130-degree heat, lacking for even the basic necessities of life because civilian contractors cannot be ordered into war zones, (and they are the ones getting paid to supply our military units). Hundreds of our sons and daughters have been killed and for what? Rumsfeld left nuclear materials unguarded but did manage to guard the Oil Ministry! Why? For the profit of Bush contributors like Dick Cheney's Halliburton and Bechtel, to name two of the companies making the highest profit over there off the blood, sweat and death of America's bravest and finest. Do we see this on the evening news? Of course not. Do we hear about over a thousand injured soldiers shipped home under cover of media darkness and foisted off on a VA system decimated to the tune of $95 billion by Bush's tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy? Nope. And where is our "fearless" commander in chief? He's busy taking a 30-day vacation while our loved ones are left to die like sitting ducks in Afghanistan and Iraq and millions of Americans suffer the consequences of energy deregulation.
