Republicans need to start taking blame

August 25, 2003

Dear Editor:

I am an ex-resident of Danville. I read the letter from Sam Rhodus. It's very interesting that he appears to be so upset about the atrocities committed by Saddam - but he seems to support the atrocities committed by George Bush. Has he never seen the pictures of the children who have lost limbs or the ones who have no parents because of the Bush-bombing in Iraq? Does he know about the kids who are now unable to go to school because there are no schools? What about the mothers who are tryng to care for babies with no water? Can he explain to us why we are supposed to be outraged at the bombing of the U.N. building, but not at the Bush-bombing of downtown Baghdad day after day? Does he really think that we are justified in attacking and they are not justified in fighting back?

What kind of thinking is this? Bush wanted war and he got it. You cannot blame Clinton's failings for Bush's incompetence. If you want to go to war, you better know what you are doing. Bush obviously doesn't have a clue.
