The Harrodsburg and Boyle County branches of Southern State Cooperative will hold their annual membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at Boyle County High School.
With the theme "Southern States Is Here to Stay," the cooperative's management will use the meeting to report on both local and companywide operations, as well as projected budget results for next year. Local board members and Farm Home Advisory Committee members will be elected, and retiring FHAC and board members will be recognized.
Board nominees include Stephen C. Bailey and David Thomas Lynn for the Harrodsburg branch and Bryan Horn and A.A. Parker Jr. for the Boyle branch.
The appointment procedure is being used for the FHAC.
"The annual meeting is the best single opportunity to outline our plans for the future to our membership and discuss our progress in meeting our financial goals," said Steve Anderson, manager of the Harrodsburg branch.
