Blood drive set for Wednesday:

Inter-County Energy will sponsor a blood drive from 8-11 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Bloodmobile. The drive is sponsored in conjunction with Central Kentucky Blood Center.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health. The complete process takes less than an hour, with the actual donation of one pint lasting 10 minutes. Blood can be donated every 56 days.

Donors will receive a free T-shirt. For more information, call Lora Vliet at 1-800-775-2522.

Baugh family plans reunion:

EUBANK - The Baugh family reunion will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Eubank Park in Shelter No. 1. A potluck meal will be served at 4 p.m.



Danville City Commission - 5:30 p.m. today at city hall. The agenda includes employees' retirement, promotions and new hire introductions; Raleigh Court storm water; mosquito spraying comments; community arts center grant application; Main Street project; Renaissance grant; parking structure; city manager screening committee training; Chamber of Commerce magazine ad request; fire station update; facilities master plan; Hustonville request and West Walnut ordinance.

Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation Board - 4 p.m. Wednesday at city hall.

Boyle County Fiscal Court - 7 p.m. Tuesday at the fiscal court room. The agenda includes Convention and Visitors Bureau financial report, Johnson House construction contract, Parksville water district, health insurance renewal, property tax and year-end treasurer's report.

Danville Cemetery Committee - 9 a.m. Tuesday at the city hall conference room to discuss proposed cemetery regulations.

Lincoln County Fiscal Court - 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Old Kentucky Utilities court annex building to accept courthouse roof bid.
