LAWRENCEBURG - The Lincoln County boys posted their lowest team score of the year Thursday and needed it to defeat Anderson County and Bethlehem at Bob-O-Link Golf Course.
Lincoln shot a 151, two strokes better than Anderson and six better than Bethlehem, to improve to 8-0 on the season.
David Grigson tied for the low score with a Bethlehem golfer as both carded 36. Aaron Anderson and Craig Noland each shot 37, while Taylor Hafley and Chris Carter each had a 41. Gatlin Greer rounded out Lincoln's lineup with a 45.
Lincoln coach Willie Hoskins said his team played very well.
"It was pleasing to play another course and shoot that low," Hoskins said.
