Steven E. Burton

Steven Edward Burton, 39, of Old Hustonville Road, Junction City, died Sunday at his home.

Born Nov. 13, 1963, in Danville, he was the son of Eddie Burton of Danville and Margaret Richardson Burton of Junction City. He was a construction worker.

Other survivors include his wife, Tathy Sexton Burton of Burnsville, N.C.; a daughter, Katelyn Burton of Burnsville; and a son, Chris Burton of Danville.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Bill Hall. Burial will be in Goodwater Cemetery, Mount Victory.


Pallbearers will be Barry Huggins, Gerald Howell, John Lane, Bryan Cole, Gene Clark and Tommy Littrell.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Helen W. McDonley

LOUISVILLE - Helen Webb McDonley, 71, of Louisville died Thursday in Salem, Ind.

Born in Harrodsburg, she was a member of Shawnee Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of Shawnee Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Pogue of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a son, David McDonley of Salem; two brothers, Joe Webb and June Webb; and six grandchildren.

Services were Monday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons. Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Donations may go to Hospice of Southern Indiana or American Lung Association.

Louis McQueary

STANFORD - Louis McQueary, 83, of Stanford died Monday at his home. Arrangements are incomplete Spurlin Funeral Home.


Louise Johnson

Services for Louise Gordon Johnson, 83, of Alum Springs Road will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. Ernest Fields Jr. and Doug Wesley. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.

She died Sunday in Louisville.

Born May 2, 1920, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Archie E. and Zona M. Denton Gordon. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Kentucky State Hospital and Boyle County Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school, and was secretary of Pleasant Run Baptist Church for many years. She was the widow of James Clarence Johnson.

Survivors include three sons, William A. Johnson of Danville, Marvin L. Johnson of Columbia, Tenn., and J.C. Johnson of Louisville; four brothers, Edward Gordon of Greenwood, Ind., Frank and Raymond Gordon both of Indianapolis, and George Gordon of Forkland; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be A.J. Johnson, David Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Joseph Nutgrass, Johnathan Ford, James Johnson, Corey Johnson and Milburn Edwards.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Ford, Jeremy Johnson, Ben Johnson, Marvin Russell, Adam Ford, Noah Ford, Cody Ford and Alan Johnson.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today.

Brandon L. Grubbs

HARRODSBURG - Services for Brandon Lee Grubbs, 18, of Danville will be 2:32 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He died Saturday in Garrard County.

Pallbearers will be Michael Grubbs, Jason Gabhart, Mario Buster, Sha Ford, Talon Hueston and Jason Harmon.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
