Weddings for Sept. 14

Amy Nicole Staton and Michael Paul Hensley were married March 21 at Stanford Church of Christ by Virgil Horseman.

Shauna Steagall of Lancaster served as maid of honor and Stacy Hensley of Burgin was bridesmaid. Katelynn Hensley of Burgin and Sarah Gibson of Glasgow were flowergirls.

Paul Hensley of Burgin was best man and Matt Staton of Hustonville was groomsman. Max Hensley of Burgin was ringbearer.

After a reception at McKinney Area Rescue building, the couple made a wedding trip to Gatlinburg.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Vince Staton of Hustonville.

The groom is the son of Paul and Eva Hensley of Burgin.


Ann Weslen Mattingly and Clayton Foster Cheser were married July 12 at Springfield Baptist Church by the Rev. Bland Mason.

Merritt Chastain of Springfield, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Toni Clements of Elizabethtown, Laura Polin of Louisville, Fran Carney of Springfield, and Ann Chastain. Katy Kirkpatrick was flowergirl.


Will Cheser of Springfield, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Todd Lanham of Louisville, Brian Mattingly of Springfield, Andrew Carrico of Louisville, and Alex Cheser. Ringbearer was Michael Chastain.

The bride is the daughter of Jackie Mattingly and Lennie Mattingly, both of Springfield.

The groom is the son of Larry and Debbie Cheser, all of Springfield.

After a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Springfield, the couple made a wedding trip to the Bahamas.

They live in Union.
