Shangraw's 'killers'can't take away memories

September 16, 2003

Dear Editor:

This year Ryan would have been 22. But his life was cut short. As were the lives of his family and friends because Ryan was a huge part of them, too. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about him. He was such a great person. He would do anything for you. Anything to make your day that much better.

I miss him so very much. I wish for one moment I could have him back to give him one last hug and one last "I love you" but that can't be. He is in heaven with God. The best place in the world.

Even though our world feels empty and hopeless without such a special person here with us, he couldn't be happier. I would like to thank God for the moments and memories that Ryan and I shared because that is something that I can hold in my heart forever. And that is something that these "killers" can't take away!

In closing I would like to say that Ryan was great. If you thought he wasn't, then you didn't know him. He will always be remebered in our hearts and in our memories until we see him again in Heaven.

I love you Ryan and Bo!

Lisa Shangraw
