Danville's boys won their third straight game, topping visiting Anderson County 3-0 Thursday.

The Admirals (5-7) outshot Anderson (2-7-1) 16-7 in the game.

Jameson Gay put Danville on the board with a first-half goal off a Jeff Ricker assist. Miguel Magana scored two second-half goals and Miles Garriott had an assist on the second.

Magana's first goal came off a direct free kick. His second came off a Garriott throw-in that Magana headed in for a 3-0 lead.

"This was probably the most physical game we've had all year long," Danville coach Gary Reynolds said. "This was a good contest for us to get ready here in a short while for districts.

"I do feel like we pretty much dominated play, particularly in the second half. We had broken their spirit at that point, and they were ready to give us the victory."

Reynolds credited the play of his defense, which has allowed just two goals in the last three games. He also said Chris Booth and Aaron Fons played well, but said Garriott played a big role in the win.

"Miles Garriott, playing center midfield for us, has been a major force for us this year and he has just been playing some great balls up to our forwards and our outside mids," Reynolds said. "He deserves a lot of credit for what's going on right now. He's making things happen at midfield for us."

Adair County 4, Lincoln County 1 - At Columbia, Lincoln coach Lindsey Thurman said his team played well, but couldn't come out with the win.

"The kids did play tremendous," Thurman said. "They are improving, and this was a very good game.

The Patriots got their only goal from Christian Davidson off a Daniel Reyes assist.

Pulaski County 3, Garrard County 0 - At Somerset, Pulaski shut out the visiting Golden Lions.

Pulaski (5-5-1) had one first half goal and two goals in the second half to set the final score.

Garrard (3-12) was outshot 19-7.
