I just moved into a house in Junction City. Because the people who lived here before me left owing a water bill and did not turn off service, the city is denying me water service. Regardless of what I do, they will not let me have water service unless I pay the other people's bill and then I still cannot have service in my name.
I thought we lived in a free country where we were responsible for our own actions. Apperently, this is not the case in Junction City. We are responsible for what everyone else does, too.
I am told to pay the bill and go after the people for collection. I am not the person who gave them service in the first place. If I have to be a bill collector for the Junction City water company, I should at least be added to the payroll. They can't do that, though. Because of poor city manangement, they are going bankrupt.
