FRANKFORT - Danville's girls struggled offensively and Western Hills scored quickly in a 3-0 Wolverines win Wednesday.
Western Hills (6-7-2) scored its first goal in the fifth minute and had a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
A goal in the 73rd minute iced the win, and Danville coach Marty Sullivan said the Wolverines have their whole team healthy and are dangerous.
"Western Hills is probably the second-best team in that region," Sullivan said. "Woodford County is obviously the class of the region, but Western Hills is right up there. They're looking really good."
Danville (7-7-1) was outshot 18-15 and gave up four corner kicks to the Wolverines.
"Our problem again is scoring," Sullivan said. "We have no one to fill in the gap when other teams key on Krystal (Jackson). There's no one else stepping up to take charge up there."
