October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are many ways to help spread the word about breast cancer and many online sites where you can show your support. Here are a few online sites to visit:

* Breast Cancer Research Foundation at Its ultimate goal is finding a cure and raising the awareness of the disease that has affected many lives. Learn more about the organization, its research and events, find great resources and learn how you can show your support.

* National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations at is a non-profit resource providing a wealth information and education on breast cancer.

* Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization at is a support network for "ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone." It offers a 24-hour hotline, educational programs and other resources.


Virus alert

MSN messenger users should heed caution to a new virus known as the SMB Worm or Worm.Win32.Smbmsn.163840. The worm is spread through the MSN messenger client as an SMB.EXE file attachment.
