Two join Coldwell Banker VIP Realty

Two new sales associates have joined Coldwell Banker VIP Realty, Inc.

Stuart Moss has completed the required classroom training to receive his Kentucky real estate license and has the local real estate firm as a full-time sales associate.

Moss grew up in the Perryville area and graduated from Boyle County High School. After receiving a bachelor's degree from Berea College, he worked in the information systems department of a local manufacturing company.

Jordan C. Neel, a former Perryville resident who raised miniature horses, has returned to Perryville as a sales associate with Coldwell Banker VIP.


Neel earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from Cumberland College and worked as a utility tariff review manager for the Kentucky Public Service Commission until his retirement. He may be reached at 332-2979.

Canterberry promoted at Northpoint

Robbie Canterberry of Mackville has been promoted to the position of personnel administrator associate at Northpoint Training Center.

Canterberry began her employment at the state prison as a secretary principal in 1988. She was promoted to the position of secretary III in 1996.

Phillips moves to Mane Attraction

Hairdresser Stacy Phillips, after working for four years at a shop in Southland Shopping Center, has moved to Mane Attraction in Junction City.

Phillips will work Wednesdays and Saturdays with other times available by appointment.

Workshop on Kentucky nursing laws set

A workshop on the Kentucky nursing laws and an overview of the Kentucky Board of Nursing will be held Oct. 17 at the Bright Leaf Golf Resort on U.S. 127 south of Harrodsburg.

Sponsored by District 9, Kentucky Nurses Association, the course is for all registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and advanced registered nurse practitioners.

Sessions conducted by professional staff of the Kentucky Board of Nursing will cover continuing education/compliance, orientation of graduate nurses, supervision and delegation of nursing acts, patient abandonment, scope of practice determination and prescription authority.

The cost is $70 with a reduced cost of $60 available for Kentucky Nurses Association members. Bates joins Still Cuttin' Up

Hairstylist Collette Bates has joined Still Cuttin' Up salon at 1414B Hustonville Road in Colonial Manor.

A 1990 graduate of Danville High School, Bates attended Barrett's School of Hair Design.

She does relaxers, perms, colors, cuts and styles.
