It is that time of the year! The Danville Lions Club will hold its annual radio/TV auction Nov. 10-13. This event is the major fund-raising project for the Danville club, as it has been for over the past 50 years. The money raised goes toward providing eye exams and glasses for persons in Boyle County.
We hope that all local business owners and others will be generous in donating items for the auction. We realize there is a long line of persons requesting donations but hope that our local businesses, industries, and citizens will support our effort to eliminate blindness in Boyle County as well as the world.
Solicitors will be contacting local businesses within the next three weeks. If private individuals wouuld like to donate a new item to auction please contact Cliff Dunne, auction chairperson at 326-0527. We hope that once again our auction will be a source of funds and entertainment for our community. Please be generous!
