Three Garrard County boys scored their first varsity goals in a 9-0 win over Lincoln County on Monday at Lancaster.
Trey Smith and Brad Browning, usually junior varsity players, got in for the final five minutes of the first half and each scored for Garrard (15-0-1). Junior Malcolm Smith, usually a defender, also scored his first career goal. Fellow defensive players Kyle Ayres and Zach Doan also scored.
Corey Horn and Jacob Denny each scored twice, and Denny also had two assists.
Garrard outshot Lincoln 58-2 and improved its season scoring margin to 90-5.
It was the 11th shutout of the year for Garrard.
Boyle County 7, Campbellsville 0 - At Campbellsville, Boyle (10-4-1) got two goals each from Nick Farmwald and Roland Achenjang in an easy win over Campbellsville (2-12).
Also scoring for the Rebels were Max Gideon, Ryan Thomason and Max Monterio.
Ben McClain got the shutout in goal for Boyle.
