We are responding to the letter in Monday's paper titled "Faith symbol doesn't belong on cruiser." Way to go, cruiser No. 7! Stand up for what you believe in. Personally, I think that it would be great for all of the public service vehicles to proudly display an emblem that represents our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This country was founded on the freedom to express our "religious/spiritual views." Actually, it was based on the belief of the one true God. He was the basis for our laws, government, and even our currency. If we try to take God out of every aspect of our lives, this country will be in worse shape than what it is now.
I don't mind my tax dollars paying for a "billboard" to display faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After all, the government, I'm sure, doesn't pay for anyone's "symbols of outward expressions for their personal faith."
