HARRODSBURG - Jordan Wilkinson and Jordan Burdette of Lincoln County were the first boy and girl across the finish line Tuesday at Mercer County's final all-comers meet of the season.
Wilkinson, an eighth-grader, was the boys leader in the combined 3.1-mile race at Anderson-Dean Community Park with a time of 20 minutes, 8 seconds. Burdette, a seventh-grader led all girls in the race with a time of 23:48.
Lincoln runners finished 1-2-3 in the boys standings, with Elizha Burdette and Larry Cooper following Wilkinson to the finish line.
Rita Dixon of Casey County was second in the girls race.
Lincoln won the boys team competition by 21 points over Bardstown; Lincoln's girls were second to Tates Creek by five points.
