LANCASTER - Garrard Circuit Judge Hunter Daugherty set another pre-trial hearing for Brian K. Lainhart Friday, who is charged in the murder of Mitchell Miller.
Commonwealth's Attorney Thomas Lockridge said that he is still waiting on ballistics test results to be returned.
Lainhart, 37, is accused of shooting Miller, 33, of Campbellsville, during what Kentucky State Police have described as a domestic-related event Nov. 8 on Jack Black Road about three miles north of Lancaster.
Daugherty said he could either set a trial date in January or schedule another hearing for November. Defense attorney Susanne McCollough said she would rather have another pre-trial hearing. Daugherty set the hearing for Nov. 21.
