Melissa D. Bandy, 3725 Ky. 2141, Stanford, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting), 60 days.

David Ramos, 19, Scanlon Drive, Liberty, second offense driving under the influence of intoxicants, $350, time served plus five-day sentence; no driver's license, $25; expired registration plate, $25; no insurance, $500; possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, $35; and giving officer false name or address, 30 days.

Joshua L. Cheek, 22, 645 Seminole Trail, Danville, harassing communications, 90 days suspended.

James D. Cooper, 36, Ky. 1547, Liberty, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, dismissed; and alcohol intoxication, $45.

Lena Armstrong, Liberty, theft by deception, five days suspended if restitution made.

William R. Wethington, 39, 5809 Ky. 70, DUI, $350, time served plus five days to be served on weekends; driving with a suspended license, $25; and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, $35.


Christopher S. Schubert, 20, two counts of second-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree criminal mischief, six months probated if restitution made.

Grand jury

Cases referred to the grand jury include:

Dennis K. Davis, 18, 114 River Road, Dunnville, theft by unlawful taking (auto), unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, alcohol intoxication in public place, and third-degree criminal mischief.

Criminal judgments

Criminal judgments handed down recently in Casey Circuit Court include:

Steve Ellis, 43, 1320 Maxey's Valley Road, Hustonville, probation revoked for a felony offense. He was on probation for wanton endangerment and assault charges.

Angela H. Porter, 25, Liberty, sentenced to five years for driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree assault on police officer Sgt. Joey Miller, second-degree assault with an automobile, third-degree terroristic threatening of a witness, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after allegedly running over James R. Reily and Joseph M. Ross with an auto. The sentence was probated.

James C. Snow, 24, 470 Cemetery Road, Waynesburg, sentenced to five years for second-degree rape of a female less than 14 years old, probation denied.

Jeffrey C. Snow, 21, Fire Station Lane, McKinney, sentenced to five years on two counts of second-degree rape of a female less than 18 years old and one count of second-degree sodomy of a female less than 14 years old. Probation was denied.

Eric L. Terry, 21, 1114 Water Tower Hill Road, Liberty, sentenced to one year for theft by unlawful taking of an automobile owned by Mark Noel and Doug Wolford. Probation was denied.

James Tolle, sentenced to one year and 30 days in jail for fleeing police, DUI and no driver's license. Probation was denied, and the sentences will run concurrently with other sentences. He also was sentenced to one year and six months for first-degree promoting contraband.
