Ten indicted by Casey grand jury

LIBERTY - Ten people were indicted Friday by a Casey County grand jury, according to records in Circuit Clerk Craig Overstreet's office. They include:

* Toni F. Fisher, 24, 1690 Parksville Crosspike, Danville, third offense driving under the influence of alcohol or other substance; second offense driving with a license suspended for DUI; and no insurance. The offenses occurred July 1.

* Mathew Grider, 25, 80 Cannon Road, Liberty, six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is accused of having six firearms on six separate occasions in September and October. His bond is $2,500.

* Joe Luttrell, 37, 425 Popplewell St., Liberty, third-degree assault, alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, He is accused of assaulting Police Chief Ron Whited Aug. 17 wile the officer was attempting to make an arrest.


* Ruby Pennington, 40, second-degree arson. She is accused of starting a fire Aug. 18 or causing an explosion in a mobile home she owned with the intent to destroy or damage the home, and to collect or facilitate the collection of insurance proceeds for the loss. Her bond is $2,500.

* Donald D. Propes, 52, Liberty, third offense DUI and driving on a license revoked for DUI. The offenses occurred Sept. 15.

* Brian A. Hines, 24, 123 E. Doe Creek Road, Liberty, marijuana cultivation. He is accused of planting, cultivated or harvested more than five marijuana plants with the intent to sell on Aug. 21.

* Wilbur Riddle Jr., 24, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and two counts of first-degree persistent felony offender. The offense occurred Aug. 11. His bond is $2,500.

* Michael Craig, 23, second-degree of a forged instrument. He is accused of uttering four forged checks with intent to deceive other people. The checks were forged June 21 on TNT Carpet Inc. in the amounts of $8.96, $9.01, 88.81 and $5 passed at Dairy Mart, Liberty. No bond was set.

* Randall W. Luttrell, 19, 167 Wall St., Liberty, selling controlled substances to a 16-year-old minor, trafficking in a controlled substance in or near a school. He is accused of the offenses Sept. 25.

* Gregory R. Cochran, flagrant nonsupport. He is accused of owing $25,309 from Dec. 15, 1995, to Sept. 30, 2003. He is under a $5,000 bond.

Each will be arraigned Nov. 10 in Casey Circuit Court.
