Recently I read a comment on the church's stance on gays. In the letter, Mr. James Long was complaining about the North Carolina Baptist Convention having expelled a church for allowing two gays to become members.
Mr. Long aparently knows his scripture, as he quoted some of it in his letter. However, it would seem that the meaning is completly lost to him. If an individual seeks our lord, he will find him, but the person must recognize that he has sin in his life, and then must be willing to change. If you do not believe to be homosexual is a sin, then you must not believe anything else the Bible says. It is not that we as Christians that say to be homosexual is a sin, it is our lord that says it. That's how it is, like it or not. If you don't agree with it, then take it up with God.
