Venita Devine

HARRODSBURG - Venita Devine, 84, of Harrodsburg, died today at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. She was the widow of Roy Devine. Arrangements are incomplete at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Lucille Pike

WAYNESBURG - Lucille Pike, 73, of Kings Mountain, died Tuesday at Fort Logan Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.

Luil W. Wilkinson

LIBERTY - Luil Edward Wilkinson, 88, of Ky. 49, died Tuesday at Liberty Care Center.

Born Oct. 30, 1915, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ada True Wilkinson. He was a farmer and a member of Brush Creek Christian Church.


Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Webber Wilkinson; a son, Jody Wilkinson of Liberty; a daughter, Bernice Woodrum of Danville; two brothers, Floyd Wilkinson of Liberty and Ancil Wilkinson of Monticello; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Holtzclaw.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bearl King. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday.


Walter L. Ford

Services for Walter Lee Ford, 61, of Latimer Heights, will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church by the Rev. David Chenault. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.

Born May 14, 1942, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late John and Audrey Ford. He was a retired employee of the city of Danville and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Cecil Ford and Otis Ford, both of Danville; and a sister, Opal Johnson of Danville.

Pallbearers will be Kelvin Ford, Cecil Ford Jr., Larry Ford, Lawrence Ford Jr., James Ford and Walter Troxler.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Turner, Frank Walker, Coleman Singleton, Scott Preston, Wayne Murphy, George Wilhite and Tony Griffin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday until time of service at the church.

Smith-Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Lively

Services for Margaret Lillian Cameron Lively, 94, of Valley Road, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Hopcrost Funeral Home in Hazel Park, Mich. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich.

She died Monday at her home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Hopcrost Funeral Home.

Stith Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Garrett D. Hatter

LIBERTY - Services for Garrett Dale Hatter, 52, of Yosemite, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hatter Cemetery.

He died Monday at Casey County Hospital.

Born Jan. 7, 1951, in Liberty, he was the son of Ocaly and Margaret Bradshaw Hatter. He was a self-employed tree trimmer and a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Other survivors include five sons, Chris, Steve, Jevon and Justin Hatter, all of Yosemite, and Billy Schweickert of Lebanon; a daughter, Misty Hatter of Yosemite; a sister, Sylvia Pruitt of Yosemite; two brothers, Sherman Hatter of Yosemite and David McLaughlin of Indianapolis; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. today.

Margaret B. Pangburn

CRAB ORCHARD - Services for Margaret Bowling Pangburn, 80, of Waynesburg, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at McKnight Funeral Home by Jimmy Campbell. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.

He died Monday in Livingston, Tenn.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Evans, James Begley, Randy Bowling, Curt Pangburn and Jimmy Campbell.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.
