Local hospital program completes survey
The Adult Day Health program at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center passed a survey Oct. 16 by the state Cabinet for Health Services/Office of Inspector General. Adult Day Health passed the survey with no deficiencies noted.
"We were pleased to have a successful survey," said Judy Morgan, administrator of the Adult Day Health program. "Our program is surveyed under long term care regulations, which involves a very rigorous survey.
Our success in passing the survey is evidence of the quality services provided by our staff."
The Adult Day Health program is available to adults age 18 and over who require medical care and supervision during the day. Services are available to individuals in Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, Marion, Mercer and Washington counties.
