A resident of Gose Pike told Mayor John Bowling Monday that if he wanted to talk to the neighborhood about a proposed sewerage pipeline through their property, then he should tell them it would be on the city's agenda.
Gose Pike resident Dennis Hopper said if the mayor wanted to have a fair debate then he should give the neighborhood association time to prepare.
Mayor John Bowling said in a Danville-Boyle Planning and Zoning workshop Oct. 21 that he planned to talk about building a $2.6 million sewerage line on the southside of town. No members of the public were there.
Hopper was the only Gose Pike resident that showed up at Danville City Commissioner's meeting Monday to talk about a proposed sewerage pipeline down the road, and Hopper said that few of them knew about it.
