Weddings for Nov. 2

Lora Sandra Hill and Jeremy Todd Johnson were married in an outdoor ceremony Aug. 30 at the Danville home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson by Earnest Fields.

Teresa Shewmaker of Burgin served as maid of honor and Jordan Johnson of Berea was flowergirl.

Tom Johnson of Danville was best man and Zachary Lay of Harrodsburg was ringbearer.

The couple made a wedding trip to Hawaii.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carmichael and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lay, all of Harrodsburg. She is a 1989 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and owner of Olde Bus Station restaurant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson of Danville. He is a 1992 graduate of Boyle County High School and co-owner of Todd Johnson Contracting.


They live in Burgin.


Christina Jeanette "Tina" Broughton and Jason Scott Woodward were married Sept. 6 in Garrard County by the Rev. Lloyd Phillips Jr.

Pam Lear of Garrard County served as maid of honor. Kim Broughton of Danville was bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the bride. Flowergirls were Hope Broughton of Danville and Tiffany Lear of Garrard County.

Best man was Brent Yeager of Danville, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Daniel Richardson of Danville. Ringbearer was Justin Lear of Garrard County.

After a reception at the home of the bride's grandmother, the couple made a wedding rip to Lake Cumberland.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Tyler of Harrodsburg and the late Edwin Tyler. She is a 2000 graduate of Mercer County High School and employed by Charleston Health Care Center.

The groom is the son of Carolyn Yeager of Danville and Ronnie Woodward of Harrodsburg. He is a 1999 graduate of Danville High School and employed by Centre College physical plant.

They live in Harrodsburg.
