El Chapparo Mexican Restaurant has opened at 4428 Old Hustonville Road in Junction City.
Owned by Sonya Pemberton and managed by Castulo Dominguez, the restaurant offers a daily lunch buffet, which includes "a bit of American as well as authentic Mexican food."
Pemberton said the restaurant's "family dining atmosphere" includes a waterfall and garden inside the dining area.
"We are committed to personal timely service," Pemberton said. "Satisfaction is always number one at El Chaparro."
