Manuel Carey

Manuel Carey, 87, of Crestview Drive, died Sunday at Charleston Health Care Center.

Born Nov. 15, 1915, in Washington County, he was the son of the late James and Vicey L. Toms Carey. He was retired from Boyle Lumber Co. and was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Gethsemane Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Bruce Carey; two daughters, Barbara Winburn of Danville and Martha K. McKiddy of Hustonville; a son, Butch Carey of Danville; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Robert Graham

Robert Graham, 81, of Rolling Hills, died Saturday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Born April 4, 1922, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Oscar and Julie F. Anderson Graham. He was owner and operator of Graham's Grocery, a member of Salvation Army Church and the widower of Minnie Watson Graham.

Survivors include two daughters, Frances Dawson of Danville and Ruby A. Hubble of Stanford; three sons, A.J. Graham of Harrodsburg and Donald G. Graham and Robert Graham Jr., both of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Della McQueary of Garrard County, and Blanche Wardld of Versailles; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Story. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Dawson, James and Davey Graham, Jim Cummins, Wayne Cress and Robert Graham III.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.

David Pike

David Pike, 75, of Danville, died Friday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. Arrangements are incomplete at Stith Funeral Home.

Billy W. Cress

LANCASTER - Billy Wayne Cress, 22, of Horton Cutoff, Stanford, died Saturday in Lancaster.

Born Nov. 11, 1980, in Harlan County, he was the son of Billy and Libby Cress of Stanford. He was a student at Eastern Kentucky University and was affiliated with Lancaster Christian Church.

Other survivors include his sister, Kimberly Cress of Stanford; and grandmothers, Lillie Short of Garrard County and Irene Cress of Harlan County.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Grant Bowman and Mel Bonner. Burial will be in Dix River Cemetery, Preachersville.

Pallbearers will be David Short, Chad and Nick Gilbert, Roger Banks, and Todd and Brandon Cress. Honorary pallbearers are uncles.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

Mary K. Johnson

STANFORD - Mary K. Johnson, 70, of Hustonville, died Sunday at her home. She was the widow of Stanley Lee Johnson.

Gladys R. Naylor

STANFORD - Gladys Reed Naylor, 74, of Redwood Drive, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born March 19, 1929, in South Fork, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence Bastin Reed.

She was a homemaker and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Lincoln County Homemakers Club.

She was the widow of John E. Naylor.

Survivors include her companion, Homer Day Sr. of Crab Orchard; a son, John R. Naylor of Hustonville; a daughter, Connie Doyle of Hustonville; a sister, Mae Fletcher of Stanford; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Max Hester.

Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Fletcher, Andy Naylor, John Baren, Nicholas Kirkpatrick, Tommy Smith and Jeff Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny, Joey and Robbie Wilson.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Memorials may go to Kentucky Baptist Children's Home.

Thelma Rigsby

LANCASTER - Thelma Rigsby, 79, of Kelly Ridge Road, widow of Bill Rigsby, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

HARRODSBURG - Patsy June Houp Webb, 60, of Hogue Lane, wife of Donnie Webb, died today at her home.

Services for Robert Pearson "Bobby" Springate, 65, of Lexington Court, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Ernest Martin.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites.

He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Pallbearers will be Marty Young, Craig Delk, Tim, Chris and Kirby Russell and Tommy Russell Jr.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.

Memorials may go to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.

Roger E. Wilson Sr.

Services for Roger Eugene Wilson Sr., 57, of Timberland Lane, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry Moore.

He died Friday at his home.

Pallbearers will be Dale Lynn, John Christopher, Jerry Rhodes, Randy Phillips, Buddy Elliott and Dewayne Wright.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Abbott, Charles Smith, Robert Taylor, William Padgett, Robert Mitchell and Ronald Shannon.
