The Salvation Army is planning its annual Christmas kettle drive to ensure that funds are available for needy families in Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln and Mercer counties this winter.
The Army is seeking volunteers to ring the bell for donations during the holiday season. People who are willing to coordinate the efforts within a group from their workplace, church, neighborhood or organization also are needed. The drive will begin the day after Thanksgiving.
Contact kettle coordinator Brenda Sexton at (859) 236-5379 to volunteer.
