Net Xpress: KooBoo for Kids package is launched by

November 10, 2003|SHEILA J. CLARK announces the release of the KooBoo for Kids, an all-in-one computer package. The package includes a 14.1-inch flat-panel LCD monitor, an AMD Duron 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MB DDR RAM, a 40 GB hard drive, a 56K modem, a 56x CD-ROM drive, integrated video, audio and 10/100 Ethernet connection. It also includes a 108-key enhanced keyboard, an Internet scroll mouse, 140 Watt stereo speakers and a 90-day warranty.

The KooBoo for Kids package features a specialized kid's version of LindowsOS called LindowsKids. LindowsKids comes packaged with a year subscription of SurfSafe, an Internet-filtering software program and an interactive, colorful, kid-inspired desktop theme. Additional software for kids is available from the Click-N-Run Warehouse via a specialized Kid's Aisle.
