LANCASTER - Emma Layton, 88, of Lancaster, died Sunday at Garrard County Long Term Care Facility.
Born March 15, 1915, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Simpson and Annie Prewitt Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was the widow of Robert H. Layton.
Survivors include a sister, Myrtle Felts of Arkansas.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Everett Priddy. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dorlan Grimes, Buddy Rogers, Jimmy C. Rogers, Cecil Layton, Butch Canter and William Rogers.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today.

HARRODSBURG - Byron McCammon Jr., 81, of McAfee Lane, Salvisa, formerly of South Whitley, Ind., died Friday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 25, 1922, in Sullivan County, Ind., he was the son of the late Byron and Geneva Carty McCammon. He was a graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he was a standout football player and subsequently attended Shurtleff College in Alton, Ill.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He also was a self-employed farmer, auto worker and builder, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Huntington, Ind., and later a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville, where he served as co-treasurer.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Duewer McCammon; two sons, Harry L. McCammon of Bloomington, Ind., and John M. McCammon of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Carol A. Waterman of Indianapolis and Barbara J. Metzger of Nicholasville; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville by David Whitten.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.

LANCASTER - Edward L. Ray, 76, of Danville Road, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Dollins Ray; and two brothers, Russell Ray and Stuart Ray, both of Lancaster.

HARRODSBURG - Lena Satterly, 93, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born Dec. 14, 1909, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late J.W. and Addie Moore Barnett. She was a former employee of the Gem Store and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Clellan Satterly.
Survivors include a son, Hugh Satterly of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Patsy Owens of Atlanta; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Satterly.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home.
