Geraldine H. Hunt

Geraldine Hill Hunt, 72, of Shakertown Road, died Sunday at her home.

Born Jan. 9, 1931, in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ethel B. Barlow Hill. She was an employee of American Greetings Co., a homemaker and the widow of Carlos Hunt. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the visitation program and traveled with Lucky Agers Senior Citizens Group from the church.

Survivors include two sons, Ray Hunt of Virginia Beach, Va., and Woody Hunt of Lebanon, Tenn.; three daughters, Carolyn Noel and Janice Prewitt, both of Danville, and Judy Sanders of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Billy Hill and Darrell Hill, both of McKinney; five sisters, Barbara Adams of Nicholasville, Norma Warner of Moreland, and Joann Devine, Brenda Devine and Wanda Brock, all of Harrodsburg; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.


Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Emma Layton

LANCASTER - Emma Layton, 88, of Lancaster, died Sunday at Garrard County Long Term Care Facility.

Born March 15, 1915, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Simpson and Annie Prewitt Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was the widow of Robert H. Layton.

Survivors include a sister, Myrtle Felts of Arkansas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Everett Priddy. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dorlan Grimes, Buddy Rogers, Jimmy C. Rogers, Cecil Layton, Butch Canter and William Rogers.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today.

Ron McCammon Jr.

HARRODSBURG - Byron McCammon Jr., 81, of McAfee Lane, Salvisa, formerly of South Whitley, Ind., died Friday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 25, 1922, in Sullivan County, Ind., he was the son of the late Byron and Geneva Carty McCammon. He was a graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he was a standout football player and subsequently attended Shurtleff College in Alton, Ill.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He also was a self-employed farmer, auto worker and builder, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Huntington, Ind., and later a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville, where he served as co-treasurer.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Duewer McCammon; two sons, Harry L. McCammon of Bloomington, Ind., and John M. McCammon of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Carol A. Waterman of Indianapolis and Barbara J. Metzger of Nicholasville; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville by David Whitten.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Memorials may go to Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 66, Harrodsburg, or Our Savior Lutheran Church building fund.

Gerald Randolph

LIBERTY - Gerald Randolph, 48, of Carmicle Street, died Saturday at his home. Arrangements are incomplete at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Edward L. Ray

LANCASTER - Edward L. Ray, 76, of Danville Road, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Dollins Ray; and two brothers, Russell Ray and Stuart Ray, both of Lancaster.

Other information is incomplete.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Lena Satterly

HARRODSBURG - Lena Satterly, 93, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Dec. 14, 1909, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late J.W. and Addie Moore Barnett. She was a former employee of the Gem Store and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Clellan Satterly.

Survivors include a son, Hugh Satterly of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Patsy Owens of Atlanta; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Satterly.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home.

Willie A. Vincent

Services for Willie K. Adams Vincent, 85, of Dayton, Ohio, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dayton.

She died Tuesday at Harborside Nursing Center in Dayton.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home.
