Weddings for Nov. 16

Thomas-Adams

Lezli B. Thomas and J. Wood Adams III were married Aug. 30 at Stanford United Methodist Church by Homer Hecht.

Britney Thomas of Hustonville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Candler King, Kayela Thomas and Alysa Thomas, all of Hustonville. Katlynn VanHoose of Hustonville was flowergirl.

Brad Smith of Stanford served as best man. Groomsmen were Clayton Hart, Tim Adams and Jon Adams, all of Stanford.

After a reception at Dix River Country Club, the couple made a wedding trip to Destin, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Jan Thomas and Steve and Terri Jamison, all of Hustonville. She is a 1999 graduate of Lincoln County High School. She is a student at Midway College and is employed by the Lincoln County Board of Education.

The groom is the son of Jim and Ann Adams of Stanford of Stanford. He is a 1998 graduate of Lincoln County High School, a 2002 graduate of University of Kentucky and is employed by First Southern National Bank.

Taylor-Sleet

Tracie Michelle Taylor and Michael Shane Sleet were married July 26 at Beech Grove Baptist Church by John David Lane.

Tonya Lee Cox of Moreland served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were April Smalley of Danville and Jennifer Baker of Harrodsburg. Jasmyn Sleet of Danville and Ashleigh Wilhite of Harrodsburg were flowergirls.

James Smalley of Danville was best man. Groomsmen were Dewey Cummins of Perryville and Michael Smith of Danville.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry E. and Jacqueline Taylor of Perryville. She is a 1989 graduate of Boyle County High School and a 2001 graduate of the National College of Business.

The groom is the son of Ethyle M. Sleet of Perryville. He is a 1990 graduate of Boyle County High School, attended the University of Kentucky and is employed at C&M TV in Danville.

They live in Danville.

Davis-Hockersmith

Luciana Jo Davis and John Wesley Hockersmith IV were married Sept. 20 at First Christian Church by John Hockersmith III.

Kayla Martin of Fleming County served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Devine of Lexington, Cherie Carter of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Buffy Huffman Dennis of Georgetown, Texas, and Amber Hughes of Hindman. Flowergirls were Jennifer Merchant and Meghan Owens, both of Harrodsburg, and Jaelyn Young of Perryville.

John Hockersmith III of Salvisa served as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Clawson of Berea, Jeremy Blanton of Lincoln, Calif., John Sims and Terry Camden, both of Mercer County, and Austin Haywood of Grayson County. Ringbearers were Austin Hart of Lawrenceburg and Jordan Merchant of Harrodsburg.

The couple made a wedding trip to Mayan Riviera, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of James L. and Beverly Davis of Harrodsburg. She is a 1998 graduate of Mercer County High School and is a student at Berea College. She is student teaching at Anderson County High School.

The groom is the son of John and Linda Hockersmith of Salvisa. He is a 1999 graduate of Mercer County High School, a 2003 graduate of Berea College and is a civic engineer for Corman and Associates of Lexington.

They live in Salvisa.
