Wilder elected to KACo office
Boyle County Judge-Executive Tony Wilder was sworn in as 1st Vice President of the Kentucky Association of Counties at its 29th Annual Conference & Exposition Nov. 19-21 in Lexington.
Wilder is chairman of the KACo All Lines Fund program board and the KACo Board of Directors. Also, he is secretary of the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association and is on its Legislative Committee.
More than 1,100 participants attended the annual KACo conference at the Lexington Convention Center. Elected officials from across the Commonwealth joined their counterparts to exchange ideas and discuss the administrative and legislative challenges that face local leaders. KACo's annual event provides county officials with the opportunity to elect new leadership, hear interesting presentations by noted speakers, and network with others. Participants could also earn up to 11 training hours certified by the Department for Local Government, as mandated by HB 8100 (KRS 64.5275) by attending workshops on issues affecting counties.
