Two Casey High students expelled
LIBERTY - Two Casey County High School students were expelled Monday from class for the remainder of this school year.
The county Board of Education expelled the 14- and 17-year-old boys during an executive session.
Superintendent Linda Hatter said the 14-year-old freshman boy reportedly used a cigarette lighter to singe a girl's hair. The girl was not injured.
The 17-year-old junior boy allegedly had a controlled substance, tobacco products and a lighter in his possession, said Hatter.|None***
