Chloe M. Baker
HARRODSBURG - Chloe Meade Baker, 92, of Harrodsburg Health Care Center, died Monday.
Born April 20, 1911, in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of the late Wannie Clay and Mary Wheeler Meade.
She was former co-owner of Baker Hardware (later known as Meade Hardware) and the widow of Winfield "Red" Baker.
Survivors include a sister, Nola Lemaster of Chillicothe, Ohio.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don Chase.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Schauseil, Stephen Meade, Charles Meade, Wannie Fairchild, Darryl Lemaster, Larry Short and Alfred Russell.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
LANCASTER - Hunter Michael Ray Spalding, son of Eric M. Spalding and Tonya M. Ray of Richmond, was stillborn Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include a brother, Eric Spalding; grandparents, Bert Ray of Stanford, Patsy Ray of Paint Lick, and Frank and Evelyn Spalding of Lexington; and great-grandparents, Mike and Jo Anne Spalding of Marion County and Collis and Vera Ray of Lancaster.
Graveside services were today at Lancaster Cemetery by Frank Clever.
Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Martin L. Bugg
Services for Martin L. "Snooks" Bugg, 80, of Jean Drive, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Wayne Galloway and John Graham.
Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
He died Sunday at his home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Vaught, Warren Engle, Michael Gray, Yancey and Morgan Powell and Joe Gerlach.
Honorary pallbearers are Dickie Cooper, Gayle Countryman, Jimmy Estridge, Bo Gander, Sam Brown and Jack Float.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.

James A. Hayes
LIBERTY - Services for James Allen "Hook" Hayes, 47, of Maxey Valley Road, Hustonville, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Clifford DeHart.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
He died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 27, 1956, in Liberty, he was the son of Cordie Hayes of Liberty.
He was a farmer and logger.
Other survivors include two sons, James L. Hayes of Hustonville and Taylor R. Dudgeon of Bradfordsville; two brothers, Jessie and Tony Hayes, both of Liberty; a sister, Barbara A. Wilson of Moreland; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony, Jessie and James Hayes, Ronnie Price, Jerry Pemberton and Joe Scott.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday.
CRAB ORCHARD - Services for Hazel Shepherd, 71, of J. Shelton Road, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKnight Funeral Home by Alan Hensley.
Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery, Yosemite.
She died Sunday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Dwight, Ronnie, Joe, Jonathan and Toby Black and Thomas Salyers.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

LIBERTY - Services for Kathleen Childress Williams, 68, of Waynesburg, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olive Christian Church by the Revs. Greg Powell, Matt Archibald and Sherman Floyd.
Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery.
She died Sunday at her home.
Born April 13, 1935, in Sand Springs, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Flonnie Renner Childress. She was a retired school cook and a member of Mount Olive Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald G. Williams; a son, James W. Williams of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Donna Archibald of Lancaster, Ohio; two brothers, Owen Childess of West Chester, Ohio, and George Childress of Brodhead; a sister, Sharon K. Saylor of Mount Vernon; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
