Dallas L. Peel

CRAB Orchard - Dallas Lee Peel, 48, of Fall Lick Road, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 19, 1955, in Stanford, he was the son of Ina Mae Peel of Crab Orchard and the late Forest H. Peel. He was a security guard and a member of the Baptist church and North American Hunters Club.

Other survivors include two daughters, Nicole P. Mullins of Crab Orchard and Heather M. Atkins of Preachersville; a sister, Jean Adams of Lancaster; and two step grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at McKnight Funeral Home by Billie Estes. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday.


Mary Mills

LANCASTER - Services for Mary Mills, 72, of Arvin Road, were today at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Don Hatton and Bob Coppings. Burial was in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Liberty.


She died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Pallbearers were Bill Borden, Larry Teater, Byron Teater, Randall Williams, Mark Lake, Cecil Arnold, Glenn Warf and David Ballard.

Honorary pallbearers are Melvin Wesley, Lloyd Simpson, T.J. Hamilton, David Williams, Harold Layton and the Revs. Richard Chamberlin, Walter Arnold and Daryl Hodge.

Joyce Nelson

A memorial service for Joyce S. Nelson, 71, of Danville, will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Centenary United Methodist Church Christian Life Center by the Rev. Don Benningfield.

She died Nov. 11.
