A two-month narcotics investigation led to arrests Sunday of six people at next-door residences in south Danville.
In a press release this morning, the Danville Police Department said the investigation was begun after "numerous complaints of drug activity" at 103 and 104 Lisa Ave. In response to the complaints, the department's narocotics unit obtained search warrants and those warrants were executed simultaneously on Sunday.
In addition to making the six arrests, police also confiscated "evidence of illegal drug activity" and a handgun.
All six people arrested were placed in the Boyle County Detention Center, where they remained this morning. Bonds had not yet been set for any of them. Their names, ages and charges are as follows:
* Demont Thornton, 27, arrested at 103 Lisa and charged with trafficking cocaine.
* Terri Lynn Thornton, 25, arrested at 103 Lisa and charged with trafficking cocaine.
* Lori S. Johnson, 28, arrested at 104 Lisa and charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
