Jeffrey Calhoun

Jeffrey "Jeff" Calhoun, of Charleston Health Care Centre, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home.

Nancy E. Coyle

LEBANON - Nancy Ellen Coyle, 78, of Gravel Switch, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 25, 1925, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Monie Pine Shepperson Sinkhorn. She was a retired employee of Jane and Linda Sportswear.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Lindsey of Gravel Switch, Joyce Casey of Junction City and Kathy Fallon of Danville; and three sons, Donnie Coyle of Danville, Kenneth Coyle of Harrodsburg and Harold Coyle of Lancaster.


Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bosley Funeral Home by Larry Barker. Burial will be in Elder Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

William C. Darland

HARRODSBURG - William C. Darland, 79, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Lewis F. Gash

HARRODSBURG - Lewis F. Gash, 65, of Louisville Road, husband of Barbara Jean Cinnamon Gash, died Sunday in Mercer Country. Arrangements are incomplete at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Marcus Goforth

LIBERTY - Marcus Goforth, 80, of Patterson Road, Yosemite, died Saturday at his home.

Born Feb. 28, 1923, in Casey County, he was the son of the late James L. and Leona Watson Goforth. He was a retired farmer and was retired from American Greetings Co. in Danville. He was a member of Middleburg Masonic Lodge 594 and Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Wall Goforth; two daughters, Gina Baldock of Yosemite and Sandi Merritt Durham of Hustonville; a son, Bruce Merritt of Yosemite; a brother, Clifton Goforth of Yosemite; three sisters, Parker Roberts O'Neal of Alabama and Bonnie Durham and Ethel Barnett, both of Yosemite; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Revs. Greg Powell and Curtis Brock. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. today with Masonic rites at 7 p.m.

William E. Williams

HARRODSBURG - William Eugene Williams, 62, died Sunday at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.


Georgia Critchfield

Services for Georgia Critchfield, 79, of Nichols Street, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Church of God by the Rev. Mike Cox. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

She died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Pallbearers will be Coy Compton Jr., Stewart and Ron Critchfield, Larry Langford, Kevin Kerfoot and Joe Sanders.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home.

Memorials may go to First Church of God.

Reva H. Smothers

PERRYVILLE - Services for Reva Hardin Smothers, 79, of Needmore Road, were today at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. John McDaniel. Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery in Washington County.

She died Saturday.

Pallbearers were Doug Smothers, Chris Turner, Craig Arnold, Melissa Horton, Kenny Padgett and Darrell Hardin.
