Reward raised in

arson investigation

LIBERTY - State police are still investigating an arson fire that occurred Jan. 11 at Big Apple Restaurant on Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard, and a reward for information that solves the crime has been increased.

The reward now stands at $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.

Detective Alex Wesley said, "Trooper Greg Brown and I are following up on several leads provided by citizens and residents; however, more information is needed. We are hopeful that the increase in reward money will generate additional new leads."

Two injured in

Lincoln accident

CRAB ORCHARD - Two people were injured and one arrested after a two-vehicle accident at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday on Ky. 39 two miles south of Crab Orchard.

State police said Anthony Bradley, 34, address unknown, was driving a 1978 Chevrolet pickup truck south, crossed the center line and hit a 1986 Chevrolet pickup driven by Ronald K. Todd, 20, address unknown.

Bradley was transported to Fort Logan Hospital while Todd was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Bradley was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, third offense; assault; and other traffic-related offenses.
