Renee Chiu scored a career-high 20 points as the Danville girls improved to 4-0 with a 68-45 victory over Western Hills and the Lady Admirals' former coach.

Host Danville jumped out to a 21-11 lead after one quarter and Western Hills (0-2), coached by former Danville coach Jim Masters, was never in the game.

Shatoniah Miller, who scored 15 points, contributed to the Lady Admirals' hot start with a pair of 3-pointers in the first period. She and Chiu were the only Danville players in double figures.

"Renee had a great game coming off an ankle injury ... and Shatoniah did a great job of knocking down the open shots," Danville coach Justin Schommer said.

"We were able to sub in and out a lot in the second half. Our younger players off the bench have been doing a great job for us this year."

Western Hills, missing four starters due to illness, never scored 14 points in any one period.

Danville went 8-for-8 at the free-throw line.

Scott County 95, Mercer County 49 - At Georgetown, Scott (3-0) held Mercer (0-3) to just 10 points in the first period and rolled to an easy victory, reaching 95 points for the second time this season.
