Casey man faces

DUI, drug charges

LIBERTY - David L. Harris, 31, of 1480 Dunnville Road, Dunnville, has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of illegal drugs, according to a report by city police Sgt. Joey Miller.

Harris was arrested Dec. 5 on U.S. 127 in the city limits after he allegedly drove through several yards. Police said he allegedly had a small bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was driving with a suspended license.

with threatening

LIBERTY - Kent B. Propes, 39, of 696 Campbellsville St., Liberty, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree terroristic threatening after he allegedly threatened to kill family members with a knife on the Public Square, a report by city police officer Lee Smith said.


Propes was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication in a public place and the other two charges after "screaming, cursing, threatening and causing a disturbance," according to the complaint.

LIBERTY - James F. Wesley, 41, of 1762 E. Ky. 70, Lot 16, Liberty, faces five charges after he allegedly threatened his family and a police officer Sunday, city police officer Lee Smith reported.

Wesley was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, third-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Officer Smith said when he arrived at the Wesley residence, he found that Wesley was shoving, pushing, kicking, and spitting on an officer and also spit on another officer at the Casey County Detention Center. Wesley allegedly resisted arrest, kicked a cruiser window, and caused a disturbance on the way to jail, the report said.

Wesley is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Dec. 23 in Casey District Court.|None***
