LIBERTY - A Harrodsburg man has been indicted in Casey County for theft and receiving stolen property, according to records in Circuit Clerk Craig Overstreet's office.
George R. Vaughn, 35, of 323 N. Magnolia St., is accused of taking control of a four-wheeler from Debbie Staton and of receiving stolen property for having the four-wheeler in his possession. The vehicle is valued more than $300. Vaughn also was indicted on two counts of first-degree persistent felony offender. His bond is $7,500.
Others indicted Dec. 8 were:
* Rita Kay Allen, 27, of 168 Westwood Drive, Liberty, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication. She is accused of assaulting Liberty police officer Edward L. Smith on Nov. 30 and being disorderly in public. She allegedly made unreasonable noise and refused to obey the police officer's order to maintain public safety in dangerous proximity to a fire, hazard or other emergency. Her bond is $2,000.
