WILMORE - With much anticipation, Ichthus Ministries Inc. recently launched its 35th anniversary festival Web site inaugurating a new season of the Ichthus festival history.
Packed with tons of music and tons of teaching, the 35th anniversary celebration will host over 70 artists and 25 speakers across four stages.
The Ichthus music festival has been known as both the longest running Christian music festival in the nation and as being one of the largest events of its type. Averaging 25,000 in attendance each year, youth and Christian leaders from around the nation attend a three-day outdoor festival focused on bringing the top Christian artists and teachers to central Kentucky.
This anniversary year is no exception, as Ichthus has brought together one of the most distinguished lineups in its history. Featuring four recent Grammy Award nominees, attendees will have the chance to see Kirk Franklin, Third Day, Audio Adrenaline and Petra. Franklin, of gospel music fame, is tied as the second all-time selling Christian artist in the industry and is known for delivering high energy and enthusiastic performances that keep the audience yelling for more.
