Mercer County's girls scored 21 points in the final four minutes to rally from a 10-point deficit and top duPont Manual 62-56 in the second round of the Fifth Third Bank Prime Time Classic at Lexington Catholic Sunday.

Mercer is in the semifinals of the National division and will play Rockcastle County tonight at 8:30 p.m.

The Scotties (4-1) shot just 24 percent for the game and were 3-for-30 in the first half, yet still trailed by only seven at the break. Mercer was behind 41-34 after three quarters, but outscored Manual 28-15 in the fourth quarter for the win.

Erica Lee had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Courtney Watts added 12 points and five assists.

Bryan Station 70, Lincoln County 46 - At Berea, Lincoln was within three points in the third quarter, but the Defenders' 22-3 run gave them the win.

"They just went on a run, got some transition baskets and we missed some easy shots," Lincoln coach John Kolasa said. "It just snowballed into a big run."


Lincoln was led by Jenny Ralston's 15 points, Jenny Jones' six rebounds and Gwen Hardwick's four steals.

Lincoln will play today for third place in Division A.
