William Burke

HARRODSBURG - William Burke, 83, of Manns Road, husband of Lucille Burke, died Thursday at his home. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Richard J. Dennis

HARRODSBURG - Richard Joseph Dennis, 24, of South Greenville Street, died Wednesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 15, 1979, in Danville, he was the son of Bobby Dennis of Harrodsburg and Nina Graham Logue of Burgin. He was a contractor for Shelby Heating and Air and a member of Southside Christian Church.

Other survivors include his fianc, Angie Murphy of Harrodsburg; his stepfather, Stephen Logue of Burgin; two brothers, Anthony Dennis of Danville and Bryan Lyens of Harrodsburg; grandmother, Joann Dennis of Harrodsburg; and stepgrandfather, Paul Tyler of New Harmony, Ind.


Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Sam Stow and Ryan Coatney. Burial will be in Peters Cemetery, Mackville.

Pallbearers will be Chip Hartman, Scott Wright, Mike Bradford, Micky Goins, Travis Taylor and David King.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Beulah G. Gabhart

SPRINGFIELD - Beulah Neile Graves Gabhart, 92, of Mackville, died Thursday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Born Sept. 16, 1911, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Alice M. Turner Graves. She was a graduate of Mackville High School and Eastern Kentucky Teachers College. She taught at Mackville Elementary School for 30 years before retiring in 1977. She was a member of Mackville Church of Christ and the widow of George M. Gabhart.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Neile Gabhart of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane McAfee.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Carey & Son Funeral Home by Frank Preston. Burial will be in Peters Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Saturday and after 8 a.m. Sunday.

Hansford L. Hale

LOUISVILLE - Hansford Lee Hale II, 47, died Tuesday at his home.

He was the son of Anne Hale Romano and the late Tommy Hale. He was a computer programmer for Humana Corp.

Other survivors include his wife, Pamela Lewis Hale; two daughters, P.J. and Jessica Hale; a brother, Sam Hale of Lexington; two sisters, Susan Hale-Montgomery of Danville and Mindy Hale-Scott of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may go to Fireman's Christmas Fund, c/o Louisville Metro Fire Department.

Peggy F. Keene

LANCASTER - Peggy Francis Keene died Wednesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Brenda R. Morris

HARRODSBURG - Brenda Robinson Morris, 41, of Marimon Avenue, died Wednesday at her home.

Born April 3, 1962, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of Linda Votaw Louallen of Harrodsburg and the late Floyd N. Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Other survivors include three sons, Jonathan McAfee, Joseph Morris and Jordan Foister, all of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Emily Foister of Harrodsburg; a sister, Judy Robinson Davis of Mooresville, N.C., two half-sisters, Betty Robinson and Lou Bugg, both of Harrodsburg; and a grandson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Jamie McElroy. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Day, Jonathan McAfee, Joseph Morris, Julio Garcia, Larry Morris and Tommy Colvin.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Margaret M. Mullins

CRAB ORCHARD - Margaret Marie Martin Mullins, 66, of Elm Street, died Thursday at her home.

Born Dec. 22, 1937, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Gracie Bennett Martin. She was a member of Crab Orchard Old Regular Baptist Church and the widow of Willie V. "Peanut" Mullins.

Survivors include three sons, Jeff Mullins, Jerry Mullins and Bill Mullins, all of Crab Orchard; a sister, Betty Martin of Crab Orchard; three brothers, William E. Martin, Lonnie Martin Jr. and John E. Martin, all of Crab Orchard; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at McKnight Funeral Home by Murl Caudill. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice.

William R. Noel

LIBERTY - William Ray Noel, 53, of Maple Hill Road, died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Born Jan. 2, 1950, in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son of Earl and Jane Wethington Noel of Liberty. He was a farmer.

Other survivors include his wife, Lytha Daffron Noel; and a sister, Barbara R. Noe, of Liberty.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Charlie Cox. Burial will be Noel's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mark and Brian Woodrum, Jamie and Darren Summers, Robert Noel and Tim Wethington.

Honorary pallbearers are Wilburn Wright, Jerry and Barry McMann, Jasper Wethington and Gary Wright.
